Why Did You Join Cuyamaca Volleyball? I joined Cuyamaca Volleyball because I believe that I had a future in making it to a four-year volleyball team. Cuyamaca was the most convenient team to join due to my job and where I lived, and also I was told about how great each individual on the team was and I had to see for myself. It turned out that all the girls on the team were great and most of them had the same goals as me to move on to play at a four-year.
Coach Pratte's Comments: "Deondra is extremely athletic and a pleasure to coach. If she sticks to our two year plan, she will most likely have the opportunity to play at a four-year college. In the short time that I have coached her, she has demonstrated that she pays attention to detail and is extremely driven to improve at the game of volleyball."
