Faith King- is a dedicated and versatile athlete from San Diego, California. Playing as both a shooting guard and small forward for the Cuyamaca Women’s Basketball team, she consistently showcases her exceptional skills, particularly her defensive prowess, and an unwavering work ethic. Despite only playing basketball for two years before joining the team, Faith has quickly made significant contributions, especially on defense, and has become a key supporter, always cheering on her teammates and encouraging them to push their limits.

Off the court, Faith is just as impressive. She balances her athletic commitments with coaching gymnastics, pursuing her passion for STEM as a woman in science, and volunteering to support the homeless. She is deeply interested in studying the human body, learning about physical training, nutrition, and student teaching. Her future goals include playing at the four-year level, pursuing a career in autopsy or becoming a biology teacher, and ultimately earning her bachelor’s degree.

Faith is profoundly grateful for the guidance of her coaches, from her early years in gymnastics to her current coach, Sa’de, who has shown her the value of growth and continuous learning. She also appreciates the unwavering support of her parents and teammates, who have been instrumental in shaping her journey and helping her chase her dreams.
