Naomi Henderson • Guard • Freshman
Undeclared (pre-veterinary interest)
Naomi Hendeson is a freshman guard whose game is built on purpose and steady improvement. She picked up a ball at six and never put it down, learning early that basketball could be more than competition; it could be a platform. As a Christian, she aims to honor God in the way she works, competes, and treats people, bringing quiet composure and team-first energy to the Coyotes.
Henderson developed at Christian High School and Altus Schools South Bay as a shooting guard who values shot preparation, spacing, and ball movement. She lives by a simple reminder “Hard work beats talent when talent fails to work.” It shows up in the details: early reps, crisp closeouts, talk on defense, and the extra pass that turns good looks into great ones.
At Cuyamaca, her goal is clear and consistent: get 1% better every day and help her teammates do the same. Off the floor, she’s exploring an academic path toward veterinary medicine, pairing curiosity and care with the same discipline she brings to the court.
