The Cuyamaca College women's cross country team wrapped up a strong outing at the 2025 SoCal Championships, highlighted by sophomore Marseel Bahnan, who delivered the best race of her career.
Bahnan placed 15th with a time of 19:11, earning her first-ever spot to the State Championship Finals in Fresno. The performance marks a major breakthrough, last year she finished 90th in 23:00, but this season she dropped nearly four minutes and posted a 17-second personal record at regionals.
Freshman Tabitha Reardon also ran a solid race for the Coyotes, finishing in 23:35 in her SoCal Championship debut, giving Cuyamaca strong representation on the women's side.
With Bahnan advancing, Cuyamaca will be represented at the State Finals, and the program continues to build momentum behind its young roster.
