Cuyamaca College Celebrates National Girls and Women in Sports Day

El Cajon, CA

National Girls and Women in Sports Day is celebrated each year to recognize the impact of sports on the lives of girls and women, both on and off the field. At Cuyamaca College, female student-athletes continue to represent excellence, leadership, and resilience while competing at the highest level of community college athletics.

From the track to the court, the field to the fairway, Cuyamaca's women athletes balance academic success with athletic commitment, serving as leaders and role models within the campus community. Their dedication reflects the values of teamwork, discipline, and perseverance that define Cuyamaca College athletics.

The Coyotes compete in the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference and the California Community College Athletic Association (3C2A), consistently showcasing talent and determination while supporting one another across programs. National Girls and Women in Sports Day highlights not only athletic achievement, but also the opportunities sports create for confidence, leadership, and lifelong growth.

Cuyamaca College Athletics remains committed to empowering women through sport and celebrating the athletes who continue to pave the way for future generations.
