Cuyamaca Coyotes Set to Host 2026 PCAC Track & Field FINALS Championships

El Cajon, CA

The first half of the 2026 PCAC Conference Championships is officially complete. Following Wednesday's slate of distance finals and qualifying heats, the Cuyamaca Coyotes are resting and refocusing for the biggest day of the season: Championship Saturday, April 18

The action resumes at 1:00 PM, with the final titles on the line across both track and field disciplines. 

Saturday Field Event Highlights

The field athletes will be out in force starting at 1:00 PM. Local fans can catch the following finals:

  • Pole Vault: Both Women (1:00 PM) and Men (3:00 PM) will be taking to the skies. 

  • Throws: The Women's Hammer Throw and Men's Javelin start at 1:00 PM, followed by the Men's Hammer and Women's Javelin at 3:00 PM.

  • Jumps: Long Jump finals for both squads will take place throughout the afternoon

The Main Stage: Saturday Track Finals

The track will be a non-stop gauntlet of finals starting at 1:00 PM. The schedule is packed with high-stakes races, including:

  • Steeplechase & Relays: The afternoon opens with the 3000m Steeplechase (1:00 PM) and the 400m Relays (1:35 PM). 

  • The Sprints: The fastest athletes in the conference will settle the score in the 100m (2:50 PM) and 200m (3:45 PM).

  • The Grand Finale: The meet concludes with the high-energy 4 x 400m Relays, with the women's race at 4:50 PM and the men's finale at 5:00 PM.
